How To Backup & Restore Start Menu Layout In Windows 10

The Windows 10 Start menu is highly customizable. You can change the size of tiles, group and name tiles, move tiles, and do more to customize the Start menu to your liking.

After customizing the Start menu to your desire, you might want to create a backup of Start menu layout so that you can restore the same layout when you reinstall Windows 10 or get the same layout on another computer running Windows 10.

Step 1: Run Backup Start Menu Layout tool.

Step 2: Click on the Create backup icon to create a backup of the current layout of the Start menu.

You can create multiple backups and name them as you wish. To rename a backup, right-click on its entry and then click Rename. You can also delete individual backups.
