Sleep Better with Night Light in the Windows 10 Creators Update

Do you use Windows late and night or before bed? Studies have shown that exposure to bright blue light before bed can make it harder to fall asleep.  And if you are working in a dark room, this bright blue light can cause eye strain. Windows 10 Creators Update includes a new feature called Night Light to solve this problem. Night light automatically adjusts the amount of blue light your screen displays in the evening.

When the sun is up, your screen looks normal. But as the sun goes down and sets, Night light automatically turns on and decreases the amount of blue light displayed giving your monitor a warmer look that is friendlier for your eyes and your sleep cycle.

Night Light is very simple to setup, just follow these quick steps:

Right click on your desktop and select Display Settings.

Under the Color section, hit the switch to turn on Night light.

Next, let’s click Night light settings to configure it. Here you can adjust the color temperature at night by moving the slider, and also adjust the schedule if you don’t like the sunset to sunrise default.

And that’s it!
